A Bathroom Designed to Suit Both a Toddler and Visiting Guests
This bathroom's heart was in the right place but its execution lacked a modern touch. The Austin homeowners wanted a lighter and brighter redesign that would work for everyday living with their young toddler, but also be sophisticated enough for visiting grandparents and other adult guests.

Room Fu's design plan includes a fresh coat of white paint on the existing cabinets and new wainscoating, which instantly brightens the room. A quartz counter and undermount sink feels much more modern and upscale on the newly improved vanity. Creamy yellow paint on the upper walls complements the blue inset tiles in the original floor and coordinates with rubber ducky-themed towels -- a real hit with the littlest king of the house.

The tub and shower surround features a new take on standard subway tiles, arranged in a herringbone pattern below a blue stripe border, and in a brick pattern above.
